(RockPassion.Vn) – As previously reported, Handsome Furs’ mini show took place at Vasco Bar, at 23:00 September 10^th 2009. The performance of the Canadian duo showcased their musical spontaneity to many local as well as foreign audiences.

The show kicked off as Dan Boeckner (Guitar / Vocal) made a brief introduction about his band. Handsome Furs is an Electro Punk / Indie Rock act with 2 full-lengths and 3 singles that hit certain acclaims from music forums and mags over the world.

It was their first show in Vietnam, yet the band delivered a very colorful and impromptu performance with a setlist of both mellow and rock-your-heads-out songs. Alexei Perry (synthesizer – Boeckner’s partner) was remarkably good as she really devoted herself to every song and was successful in heating up the atmosphere.

The fans at Vasco Bar may never forget this one night as the two musicians sang and played their hearts out, which made their performance feel more personal and touching.

Apart from punk-driven songs, Handsome Furs also brought the audiences perfect chill-out moments through a set of slower tunes.

Short as the performance may seem, the band can be happy with their effort to really ‘touch’ the audiences’ feelings and ‘please’ their ears.

And that was a great chance to ‘get drunk’ at Vasco Bar. People were all feeling the same thing – physically, emotionally and musically drunk, smelling the very essence of modern music! Quite a while since the place last felt such a magical atmosphere brought about by such a strong performance! Handsome Furs did it with styles!

The show also provided young people a rare chance to experience Electro Punk to the full and throw themselves into the same stream of passion with foreign friends. C.M.C.A. once again succeeded in bringing some good stuff to Vietnamese fans this time.
