(RockPassion.Vn) – Rockpassion.vn/en is now officially launched to be the first English information and media portal specializing in Vietnamese Rock. Rockpassion.vn has developed its English version with the original purpose of introducing Vietnamese Rock to the world, providing the most thorough and vivid panorama of Rock in Vietnam and hopefully being the trusted contact for rockers, rock bands and concerned associations worldwide as well as a rich source for all international rock fans interested in the local music scene.

English version of RockPassion.Vn

This abovementioned original idea and its ultimate purpose has been with our staff since the beginning of Rockpassion.vn. Besides strengthening our website’s content and layout at Rockpassion.vn, a demo English version of Rockpassion.vn was presented in November 2008. However, it was temporary closed later for system upgrade and staff expansion.

Such English version made its return with reinforcement in December 2008, backed up by a young team whose dedication and willingness are proved to be without limits. The website is now taken to a whole new level. We are proud to bring the most happening events of a vigorous year of Vietnamese Rock to the Globe. The consecutive four months after this return saw many great shows i.e. Art Port, Dark Night I, Regurgitator Show, White Rock, Rock Storm, ect as well as new albums from local bands: Thoi Gian (Still Rock), Doi Canh Vo Hinh (Prophecy), Tai Che EP (Recycle), ect and plenty of other hot news presented in English on Rockpassion.vn/en.

That the site statistics tracker indicates a growing number of hits has been a great encouragement for our team. Moreover, there have also been international bands contacting us to seek opportunities to play in Vietnam via our email address at info@rockpassion.vn, among which was Heaven’s Basement – an English Hard Rock band who used to open Bon Jovi’s shows and Thunder’s show.
