(RockPassion.Vn) – “Dem Hoi Rock III” (“Rock On Wave”), the long-awaited sequel fest of Sai Gon Rock II, will take place on Oct 11^th 2009, at Tao Dan Sports Center (01 Huyen Tran Cong Chua St., Dist. 1, HCMC) with a massive line-up of 24 bands from all over the country. This fest, hosted by Saigon Rock Club (SRC) and sponsored by Honda Vietnam, will last for 8 hours approximately with the total number of 10,000 tickets granted free.

The festival’s line-up includes: UnlimiteD, Atmosphere, SagoMetal, Disgusted, Polar Lost, End of Road, God Father, Titanium, Black Infinity, White Noise, Purple Balloon, Prophecy, Negative, Winfield, No Fear, Deep Blue Sea, Silent, Nhiet Huyet, Xuong Rong Hoang, Ngu Cung, Recycle, and Cuoc SongS.

“Rock On Wave” is one of the rare chances for bands to experience playing in a huge fest, to exchange music visions as well as to present their new materials. The total 8 hours will splits into two sessions: 1 hour for the selected bands from Be U-nik Contest by Honda and the rest will see performances from the other bands.

“The Sai Gon Rock I (2006) fest attracted more than 4,000 rock fans, the next fest (i.e. Sai Gon Rock II) (2008); at the number exceeds 12,000. These figures prove the profound passion and appreciation from the youth towards rock music. With the number of line-up bands and playing time doubled, Rock On Wave will surely offer fans an enormous and terrific fest.”, said  Mr. Vy Nhat Tao, Director of TT Ca Nhac Nhe TPHCM.

Against the common conception that certain sponsors tend to make the events exhibitions of their commercials, Mr. Pham Manh Hung from Honda Vietnam claimed that the fest will be an authentic music playground in all senses with Honda being the pure supporter.
